Our humble beginning took the form of a small corner shop in Bukit Timah Shopping Centre almost two years ago. Through perseverance and imposing exacting standards on the food we serve, we managed to build a small following of customers. As we continued to cook our food with warm hearts and serve with big smiles, by God’s grace, we took the next step to a bigger premise.
Although we’re operating on a larger scale at Biopolis, we made sure we maintained our consistency and no-effort-spared approach to preparing our food. We do not use a tinge of msg in our food, so we painstakingly prepare all our rempah (gravy) from scratch. Our food is moderate in spiciness but has sufficient character to give off its distinctive taste. The dishes that have captured the hearts of many include Ayam Tempra, Assam Fish Head and Ngo Hiang.
At Spice Peranakan, most of our customers become our family friends. We treat each of our customers like guests we receive at home. With a genuine and sincere attitude, we seek to learn from our customers’ feedback and offer as homely and as cosy an experience as we possibly can.
